Well, this is it

It’s been a hell of a ride everybody.

Once again, I’d like to thank everyone for helping to make this happen.

Zem and Grenju, if it weren’t for you glorious assholes we would be riddled with bugs, and I would never get this mod released. I’m not a code wizrd, but you’ve got me thinking that maybe I should start trying and get into game making.

Lunar, Xas, Phaz, River, you were the dudes that hunted down our bugs. River was really busy, but he did what he could. All of you were an integral part of the team, and half the bugs Zem and Gren got their mitts on would never have been found without you.

I’d also like to thank the lovely Kai-Yan, who was our artist for the three ending pictures, and was a great sport about the whole ordeal, as well as efficient and timely.

And last, but certainly not least, YOU. The sheer number of people that joined the group showed us that a big crowd was waiting for this mod to get done, and it spurred us on.

Will this team be working on future projects? Maybe.

One thing is for sure though, we all made Level Four Revive Materia a reality, and though we may not get the achievement that does not change the fact that we banded together to give Mute a happy ending. Not everyone may agree with it, but that’s a huge fucking accomplishment.

Anyways, here it is, in all its glory. Hope you enjoy!

  2. It doesn’t seem to work for me. Is there supposed to be a choice, or is it automatically supposed to prevent the suicide? Starting a new game causes it to continue like normal. I used the “S” method to skip the waiting period. Would that being doing it, or is it something else?

  5. Thankyou so much for making this ^^ It is nice to see *Mute finally make it to earth and enjoying herself. I was really upset when I got to the original ending of her solo path, because it seemed like such a waste, for her to come so far and then decide at the last minute to give up. Not like the strong willed *Mute we had all come to know and love through the course of both games, So thankyou so much, You have made an already excellent game, so, so much better! x

  6. :O I hope that you have Christine Love permission to do it, because, as Hate Plus is © Copyright, you cannot just extract files: it is Copyright violation,

Well, unless if it don’t have a valid patent.

Anyway, is always better see if you can do it, No one wants run in trouble, after all :/ .

    • I don’t think that this is a copyright violation. After all, if it is, most of the content on the NWNVault, Steam Workshop, etc would be copyright infringement. What these people did is they made a modification to the game and are only distributing the files needed to make that modification. The modification cannot be run stand-alone, so it does require a valid copy of Hate Plus.

  7. Hey, if anyone is reading this, can you tell me how to get this to work? I’ve downloaded the files and unpacked them in Hate Plus’ game file, but there isn’t any prompt to overwrite anything, and so I can’t get the mod to work. What am I supposed to do?

  8. Hi – thanks for the mod, but you seem to be assuming that the optional “Old Mute” conversation will always take place. I didn’t see this at all as I told *Mute “Let’s Not” the first time she wanted to take a break.

Only the first 4 conversations are then triggered (all of these are compulsory), which then leads to this error on Day 3 startup as a variable is never set:

I’m sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.
